I have been involved within the waste and recycling industry for 40 years.
Working from a driver’s mate through to becoming a LGV driver for various waste and recycling vehicles. I then moved into sales in the waste and recycling sector, selling to top bed mattress company recycling 95% of their waste which was going to landfill
Passing my Wamitab level 4 qualification in 2013 for hazardous waste.
I have covered many sites during my 8 years of being a TCM including compost sites mixed waste and recycling sites, skip companies transfer and treatment, and inert waste recycling, Recovery plans, End of Life Vehicles (ELV), Hazardous waste transfer and treatment for commercial fridge and freezers helping them achieve 100% diversion from landfill for their national supermarket chain customer.

I have since passed my Wamitab level 4 Anaerobic Digestion (AD) in 2019. This allows me to cover these sites as a Technical Competent Manager (TCM). Helping these site become more compliant.
In 2020 I became a wamitab assessor for hazardous waste, non-hazardous waste and for Anaerobic Digestion plants. I can help candidates achieve their accreditation for level 4 wamitab qualifications.
In 2020 I passed my IOSH health and Safety qualification.
